In grateful memory of our first president

Daniel Montalvo

Named in grateful memory of one of the promoters of our Chapter and its first president in 2001, this scholarship is intended to provide economic assistance to American citizen students enrolled in engineering and surveying curriculums at undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral levels. Students must be currently attending, or accepted to attend, to a superior education institution in the USA or Canada accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).

This scholarship was authorized by the Chapters Assembly of June 23, 2028 and later approved by the CIAPR. It is governed by the Regulation for Educational Scholarships of the CIAPR, which also contains detailed information about other scholarships offered by various components of our parent association. Requirements

The scholarship applications for each calendar year are opened form March to May and awarded in June of each year, in advance for the college year starting in August. Awarded amounts varies from $750 to $2,500, individually each year. The yearly dollar amounts, and number of awards are determined by the Chapter’s Scholarships Special Commission and approved by the Chapter’s Board of Director.
